About the Creators of Earl & Earlene
How did Earl and
Earlene come about? Well, it just sorta happened. As "baby boomers"
approaching middle age we were uncertain how we would live the second
half of our lives. After a combined total of over 50 years in corporate
America we left it all behind and headed for New Mexico looking for
new experiences on the road of life.
We purchased a few silly hats, a polka-dotted dress and a pair of 1960s
plaid pants from the thrift store and had fun dressing up for an acting
class we were in together never realizing how the clothes would dramatically
change the direction of our lives.
From those humble beginnings in acting class where we (John and Marilyn)
fell in love Earl and Earlene evolved. You see Earl and Earlene are
also in love. Not only in love with each other but in love with life
and laughter. And all four of us, John, Marilyn, Earl, and Earlene,
are looking forward to a great second-half of life.
We hope ya'll enjoy our cards as much as we enjoyed making them. We'd
love to hear from ya and can't wait to see ALL ya'll out there somewhere.

In gratitude to our family, friends and those of you who purchase our
cards a portion of the proceeds will happily be donated to organizations
that enhance the lives of children and senior citizens. Last, but not
least, thanks to our parents who taught us to laugh at ourselves and
be kind to others.
